I’ll wait until my post-op appt** Well SH!T…wound dehiscence I accidentally got my bandages wet while giving myself a “stupid” sponge/bird bath 2 days ago. I removed the soiled bandages, allowed the area to air dry, cleansed it, patted around the incision to remove the excess saline solution and then applied a fresh dressing. Today, I wanted to check it and this is what I see: separated edges. Lesley Will I’m 6 months post op. Initially when I had the surgery my big toe was very straight. It’s looking like it’s going squint again. My foot still feels tight when walking barefoot and like I’m standing on a stone Anyone have this experience? Driving me crazy already Vicki Corbin AI content My final post op appointment with my podiatrist was today. I had a 1st MPJ Fusion surgery on my left foot on February 25. My surgery and recovery went well. Here’s pictures of my foot the day of the surgery & what it looks like today. I’m happy with the outcome. No pain or numbness and I can wear shoes that I have with no issues. There’s still some swelling around the big toe and this will continue to go down as it has from month to month and the scar will continue to fade.
