Hey folks. I have low arches, heel pain, and supination. Any suggestions? I've had 3 surgeries for PF. I just bought some PowerStep insoles. I'm hoping for some kind of relief. TIA.

The power steps are a fine start but you really need to see a pedorthist to get corrective customs

Terry Reed I agree with you about the custom orthotics. You suggested to me that I find someone who specializes in biomechnics to make my orthotics. I thought it would be impossible to find such a company. We have the Nextdoor App in our area. It's really just neighbors or people in your area who post. I have found several specialists by just asking people for their recommendations. I posted requesting if anyone new a practice creating orthotics using biomechnics. I went last week for my evaluation. The orthotics cost $425 which is a little less than the original place I was going to through to get my orthotics. But I had a lot of doubts about going with that place. I am going on Thursday to pick up my orthotics. I am very optimistic they will help with my foot pain. So thanks Terry for your advice!

Sorry if I was a little vague. I had two people recommend this practice nearby that specializes in biomechnics.

With supination, you need to correct that with wedges for that. As long as there's instability in the ankle, you will have pain. The best way would be custom orthotics. If that isn't an option, you can use the wedges with the powerstep insoles
