Has anyone had nerve conduction test? First of all I’ve had

Has anyone had nerve conduction test? First of all I’ve had foot pain for years dealing with plantar fasciitis. I get flare ups from time to time from overuse but it’s manageable. In November I broke my fifth metatarsal. Spent 8 weeks in a boot. Just now getting around well. Now I get this weird tingling sensation in my arch. Dr recommended a nerve conduction test. It’s expensive and was hoping to get some insight on how it works. Anyone familiar with? All reactions:
