Is there such a thing as a big toe joint replacement? I have been dealing with chronic pain for years as a result of botched bunionectomy. The botched surgery left me with horrible sesamoiditis, which eventually led to a sesamoidectomy (can't recall at the moment whether it was tibial or medial, but it did nothing for the ball of foot pain). I have very little hope, but always hoping that there will be medical advances for foot surgery.
