Hi All, I'm wondering if anyone who has had sesamoidis or FHL tendonitis can describe the pain/symptoms you felt? I have a stabbing pain right under my big toe in the ball of my foot that I've been trying to diagnose. no swelling and big toe moves fine. the pain comes randomly and generally when my weight is in my feet and I flex my big toe upwards. feels like nothing I've ever experienced before.

Headed to get a ton of bottled water because the village water looks undrinkable! Anybody have an update on when this will be fixed? I did just put a service request on GoGranville but I’m wondering if anyone else has heard details?

It wrecks the filters at our restaurants. So much sediment, calcium, lime etc.

We live in the village and the water is never drinkable. I have a zero water filter and it’s worthless. We buy gallon jugs now bc I was having to change the filters after only a few uses and the water would need to be filtered 2-3x before it would read zero.

Yes. I have sesamoiditis. Can’t recall what cause it. It’s like a stabbing pain too

I had crushed sesamoids and if felt like I was being stabbed under and between the big and 2nd toe. It hurt so bad some nights I couldn’t fall asleep. Sometimes it radiates into my arch. I moved my toes just fine with no swelling.

I have it and hurting badly when flexing big toe. I have been in a boot for two weeks and my podiatrist wants me to be in the boot for another month. I’m going for an MRI to see what is causing all this to happen. All I do is walk so nothing too active

I’ve had pain like that for two years. Sharp pain to a dull ache in the sesamoid area. Very tender to the touch and aches for days after the doctor touches it. Tried the boot, steroids, cortisone shots, but it’s only gotten worse. I finally went to an orthopedic foot doctor and got an mri last week. I can barely walk it’s so bad now. I’m hoping to get answers at my follow up this week.

When i had severe pains thats caused me to have back and nerve pain and i was diagnosed to suffer from neuro disease i was on some meds that didn't help at all so i rather tend to take klonopin and suboxone that has really helped me combat the nerve pain and migraines thats made my life miserable. did you have any swelling? or inability to move your big toe?

no swelling. My toe can still move but because the pain is there, the outer side of my foot also hurts now. My doctor it’s was probably trying to compensate

sorry to hear that and hope it improves soon. is the stabbing pain constant or does it come and go? how long have you suffered from this?

, I have a cyst in the bone, mild bunion (you’d never guess looking at my foot), cartilage worn away, and my big toe is longer and so my metatarsal formation isn’t sloped the was it should be. My orthopedist feels like it a combination of all those things. I’m having the cyst cut out, bone grafted, shortened, and lapiplasty bunion surgery. But the key is to get an mri if your pain isn’t going away. My podiatrist talked about it for two years but the orthopedic doctor got it done.
