Not quite related but close enough. While I was on vacation

Not quite related but close enough. While I was on vacation this past week I got a swollen ankle. I started my steroids to help with the swelling. I have a busy day tomorrow should I wrap my ankle in an Ace Wrap to help it while I'm traveling and going to a baby shower just to keep it safe? I don't want to do anything stupid to my body since it's already in a flare up from going on a nice vacation that I did not want to leave
