3 weeks post MIS surgery now.

3 weeks post MIS surgery now. I am walking (slowly) in the orthopedic shoe and making some short trips to the shops/out for coffee and things. Whilst I don't exactly feel a great deal of pain (just the odd tender feeling) and no real swelling after walking but do elevate once home, the top and side of my foot feels quite hard. Can anyone explain what this is and will this soften/disappear in time? I also feel my big toe is still angled lower than my lesser toes. Again, assum
