A month ago I had a permanent partial toenail removed. It was healing nicely and I was cleaning and putting neosporn on 3x daily- as they said to do. Unfortunately I stubbed my toe, it seemed to get worse so I made an appointment to get it looked at again. However, since making the appointment I have been leaving it open and cleaning it once a day and the pain has improved tremendously- almost none at all. It seems to be scabbing over much better as well. With that being said, should I give it more time to heal before going in? I’m constantly on my feet so I feel like that will play a role in some delayed healing time. Thanks for any input!!!

Go in asap so it doesn't get infected

yeah I have an appointment Friday but seeing how I don’t have insurance and it seems to be getting better I was second guessing.

I had the same surgery on the same toe it will be worse before it gets better just keep it clean with peroxide and Neosporin it's good to let it breathe. Just when going out wrap it up

yeah I’m figuring to give it more time as it is scabbing over like he described it would. Keeping it clean and just letting it breathe seemed to have been the trick. 🤷‍♀️
