Advise on best sneakers with arch support and favorite sandals that look ok?

Advise on best sneakers with arch support and favorite sandals that look ok? Shared post Lynn Meister Mueller I have noticed that anytime I wear sneakers my toes get numb but I'm ok wearing anything else. I love walking and walk 3-4 miles. Does anyone have a shoe to recommend that is good to walk those distances but isn't a sneaker? Thank you so much for your responses I really appreciate the insight! However, I don't need sneaker advice, have tried 5 different ones, most of the ones mentioned here and there is something about sneakers that isn't working now. I think maybe it's something with the heel or structure of a sneaker because I can wear shoes that aren't sneakers and are closed toes and be ok and have toe width similar to them. can't figure it out but having a shoe that can handle walking long distances that aren't sneakers could be the cure! any advice? Been lurking a while but this is my first post. I am looking for advice but I have a little backstory first. When I was elementary/middle school aged I was diagnosed with severe bunions. Walking around school was painful. I had surgery in 8th/9th grade (one foot at a time) to fix them. Got three pins in each foot. Now I'm 30 years old and they are coming back. It's starting to hurt again to stand and walk for long periods of time. I'm a pet groomer for work so I am on my feet a lot. Now, I really miss running. After my surgeries I did cross country and ran in high school and loved it. I miss it so much. Right now I do not have health insurance so more surgery isn't an option at the moment. I guess my question is. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Are there ANY shoes that I can wear that might help the pain enough to run again? With the weather getting nice I want to so badly. Even walking my dog hurts. I wear hokas with special inserts for work but I think I need something better if I want to exercise again. Thank you in advance for any help! Hello everyone!! Its great to finally have something to suit my feet. May be a black-and-white image of espadrilles. The toe area is enormous whereas the area where my actual bunion is is a little too narrow so my bunion is protruding. They’re very stretchy fabric so it’s fine but realising a roomy toe box is not actually what I need!!
