After having dealt with this for almost 10 month now and a second opinion appointment today, I agreed to the injection. Doc said the lateral band is badly affected, which apparently is rare(?). Anyhow, after the injection, it’s been about 3 hours now, I can barely step on my foot at all without an extreme tightness in my Achilles tendon. Is this normal? Will this subside? Why is it soooo tight on the Achilles all of a sudden?
