After suffering for the 2nd time, this time my pain lasted for around 4 months….I am pleased to say, my pain has actually subsided. Dare I hope that it has disappeared!!! If it has, I can only think that pilates, both mat and reformer have helped me massively. All the calf, leg and ankle stretches seem to have done the trick. Honestly, I have been doing reformer pilates twice weekly and Mat once weekly for around 5 weeks and I feel

Your fascia shortens during rest. When you stand it tears or lengthens to mirco tearing. That’s why.

Before you get out of your chair, stretch your feet and calves a few times. You should find that helps.
