Not always in advance. Usually this means they called carrier to change a billing date. We have some with progressive like this and they alway Conviently forget they did that.

ALLSTATE agents: I have a potential client moving to my agency but the Allstate agent is telling him his June…
ALLSTATE agents: I have a potential client moving to my agency but the Allstate agent is telling him his June 25th premium was for June and his July 25th payment is for July. So if he moves to me effective the 17th they will bill him for a partial month of July. I’ve never heard of that. Insurance companies always have you pay in advance! Don’t they? Thanks in advance!
