Alright update. Well the doctor is going to put me on gabapentin but he is going to get me a referral to see the neurologist that's in the same building. He will conduct a nerve test on me but also look at my back. Because I did ask him if my back problems could also be related to my feet problems and he said yes that's a possibility. He basically says it could be tarsal tunnel with it only happening with activity. Anyone else a diabetic and on gabepentin?

so I have been a few times years ago. I have ddd in my back from a car wreck so it's not necessarily a go away type of injury. So hopefully I can get some answers at the neurologist.
I am and I was but didn't seem to do anything now going back onto allopurinol
I am on 800mg of Gabapentin 4 times a day…doesn’t do anything for me.
I take 800 mg 2x a day
Thanks for the update. Sounds like your doctor is being thorough, which is great. Yes, some diabetics take gabapentin for nerve pain and report relief, especially for tingling or burning in the feet. Good call to check the back too nerves can be tricky like that.
1600 total!!!!! have you googled or Webmd the side effects?
