Mine does the exact same thing. I often wear Correct Toes spacers and that helps a lot. Sometimes that seems overwhelming for the rest of my toes so I got a spacer that goes between my third and fourth toes that help a lot. Both work while wearing shoes as long as the shoes are wide enough. I can share a link for the spacer if you're interested.

Anyone else ever feel like nothing in the world is comfortable for your toes ?
Anyone else ever feel like nothing in the world is comfortable for your toes ? Mine fold on the outside. Been fighting this since oct 21. #4 folds down worse than this picture shows and pinky tends to go under too often.

When you are looking at twisted toes, you need to look at what is going on in the previous joints toward the foot. They will impact the position of the toes. Sometimes, in the case of the big toe, what is going on at the thigh will impact the position of the big toe.
all those spacers hurt so bad if I wear them while I’m doing stuff 😞
hello I’m back lol. Do u use an insert or something else to help with the toe stuff
wish I could wear correct toes but my second and third toes are partially webbed (syndactyly). Ashton Kutcher has the same condition. I’ve had a tendon transfer on my second toe but still suffer with the third toe. But yes, I can imagine these would be helpful to normal toes. I wear a silicone sleeve on my third toe and tape it at the base (the best that I am able). Have you tried taping Gabe?
, no, only the spacers. I've tried other brands but I can tolerate Correct Toes. I don't love the feeling of wearing them in shoes, but the slight discomfort is better than the pain I've had without them! I've had to start wearing shoes with a wide toe box to accommodate my spread toes!
I find they usually just make my toes hurt more
yeah…maybe I should try it more often but it usually just hurt, a lot. I had some Velcro straps but lost them.
my big toe isn’t where I’m noticing the pain but it could be causing issues across the rest or the foot. I admit I wasn’t great to my podiatrists and I wish I had been more patient with the guy who pointed out the big toe area and disc “we need to calm this down”. But he didn’t give specifics so I thought he was full of crap
The functioning or non-functioning of the big toe will affect all of the other toes.
