Best time of year?

Best time of year? I recently had my left foot done because the pain was starting to impact my daily life. The recovery is going ok, I’ve got a bit of my energy back and I’m starting to think about getting the right foot done. It’s structurally worse than the left, but doesn’t usually hurt. Although I do think it’s causing issues with my knees. Are there any advantages to getting surgery based on season? Spring was good, but it rained every time I had an appointment. The morning of my surgery we had to reroute due to flooding at 5am! Summer would be hot and would miss all the fun stuff. Fall has football, so that’s out . Winter the weather could be bad making it hard to get around (plus someone will have to drive me and help me navigate the snow) Getting it done by the end of the year will save me in cost since I’ve hit my deductible. But not sure dealing with winter and missing out on the holidays is worth the cost savings as follow-ups will continue through the next year anyway. Just the mental impact of likely sitting home alone on Christmas is kind of bumming me out and it’s only May!
