Day 1 of surgery recovery: had plantar fascia release surgery and gastrocnemius recession surgery yesterday around 2:00. Worst part was the two nerve blocks they put in just prior to the surgery. Came out to recovery and was talking with my doctor. He said no weight bearing at all until my follow up on July 8 (wonderful birthday present that day). Cannot shower or get it wet until then either. Came home with crutches, but haven’t used them as I have borrowed a scooter which i
