Day 14 post op but have been told to wait another 2 weeks until putting any weight on it due to ‘weak/thin’…

Day 14 post op but have been told to wait another 2 weeks until putting any weight on it due to ‘weak/thin’ bones. The surgeon compared my bones to cheese saying normal people have cheddar cheese which is quite firm but mine are like feta cheese and need longer to set. Bit annoying when I was hoping to walk out of there but am doing as told I’m thinking people should check their bone types / density before having any surgery
