Day 3 post op -scarf akin osteotomy and Oxford weils correction of 2nd toe It’s very painful and numb but I’m managing well with the medication I’m feeling optimistic and focusing on the 1st 2 weeks until surgeon review I’m not great on crutches but I have knee scooter coming tomorrow TenderFoot79 I have a specific inquiry. I had the minimally invasive bunion surgery Feb 26, 2026 on my right foot. Prior to that I wore Dr Martens unless it was warm enough for sandals, then it was Birkenstocks. Since my surgery I have only been able to wear one pair of trainers (Brooks wide width, don’t know the model) and can still comfortably wear my Birks. Summer is waning now and I’m thinking ahead for non sandal weather. Although I need to desinsitized the area , as I still feel very weird when I touch the scar part. Otherwise no major pain.
