Does it ever get better??

Does it ever get better?? Everytime I make some progress then it comes back 10x worse. I'm in so much pain but I'm terrified to take the pills prescribed. I'm so sensitive to medication I know it's going to really mess me up. I just wish I could heal this naturally but I'm losing hope that will ever happen. Right now it's the worst it's ever been and it's spread all the way back into my cuticle even and my entire toe just throbs.
