Finally took my wife to the doctor after her heel and foot pain of about 6 weeks progressively got to point she couldn’t walk and swelled up… Doctor says a partially torn PF due to tight heel cord/calves that won in a tug of war battle. She’s casted for 2 weeks where they will reevaluate and determine what’s next. They said expect to be casted for 6 weeks possibly. Does Anybody have any experience with partial tears? How long were you immobilized?
