Good morning everyone. I've been lurking here for a while because I'm terrified of having surgery.  Truthfully I've never had pain in my foot if I wear wide shoes up until this year. My husband and I hike a lot on the weekends. I used to walk over 10 miles a day. I've had this bunion for over 30 years and I'm 56 years old. I never wore high heels. Looks pretty bad. I think I would get a second opinion. You might need surgery. Hope you heal soon.

Going to go get a 2nd opinion tomorrow morning, doctor didnt even send over the anti inflammatory medication today
