Had my 10 week post op check-up.

Had my 10 week post op check-up. I’ve been released and can return to all activity, including running . I had the minimally invasive procedure that required 3 pinhole incisions and no metal hardware. Big toe was splinted with tape for 9 weeks while bone healed. Ty Pie I'm about 37 days post-op... I decided to take a big step forward today and walk in my regular sandals to a local Lidl, which was a 30-minute walk away. I had MIS and the incision area is still sensitive, so I use adhesive wound dressings/plasters over the area to prevent any rubbing. It still feels "tighter" than Peter's Spidey costume, but it is an easier discomfort to deal with than my original bunion pain. Carol Knowlton-Chirko Hi I am one week post op and saw the doctor yesterday. He was very pleased with my progress. Minimal swelling We have scheduled the left foot for 3 weeks from now. . . Has anyone had 2nd surgery so close? Andrea Weidenfeld Bitz Is this the most popular option for leg elevation? Best to keep both legs up I guess?? Thanks Ty Pie I'm sitting at about 31 days post-op... I want to be as honest as possible in this post. I had MIS surgery because "on average" you can make a quicker return to form and feel so heroic you might even get a supporting role in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie. But social media is a bit like David Blaine because it can trick you into believing an "end result" is the whole story.
