Had my first week check up.

Had my first week check up. Doc says I'm doing really good! Stitches will come out next Thursday . Pin in pinky toe will come out in 5 weeks if I can tolerate it. I get to go back to work after the stitches come out. Hubby will have to get me back and forth to work because I will still have the boot on my right foot. Im able to walk baby steps with the boot on. Just wanted everyone to know, this is going way better than I thought it would!

Thanks for your update! I had my surgery last Friday. I have a pin in my fourth toe bc I broke it in June (Of course😖) and it healed crooked. Are you non-weight bearing until it’s out? I haven’t been told anything yet

I am in a boot. I'm able to walk on the heel of my foot. At first it hurt, but by day 3, I was able to walk. I had a walker for assistance, but now I can walk without it. Every day it gets better. But I have to be careful not to overdo it. Pain meds do help a lot. I just started to wean myself off the meds.
