Has anyone experienced stabbing nerve pain going into their big toenail? This started happening to me a few days ago and it’s torture. The only things that help are putting Biofreeze on it and taking Percocet. I have been filing my nail down really thin and putting Nonyx nail gel on it and antifungal cream for 2 years. Maybe doing these things for so long irritated a nerve in my toe? I went to urgent care today and they gave me Gabapentin but it’s not helping. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, I experienced that on the exterior corner of my big toe and it turned out I had an ingrown toenail. I let it get worse before addressing it and the entire toe swelled up and was so painful to the touch I couldn’t even put a sheet over it. Find a good podiatrist and go there for a second opinion
U might be filing the mail to thin and the medicine is probably going through the nail onto your skin so I would probably not put too much on I guess
Have you tried soaking your feet twice daily in Epsom salt with one cap of disinfectant x

Yes, even though my nail has been cured with colloidal silver, I still get sharp pain and I use sagely naturals CBD spray!
