Has anyone had extreme cramping in their feet due to the bunion? My biggest fear is when I have surgery, the cramping will happen. But I’m hoping the cramping occurs because of the bunion and that will be relieved with surgery.  In this video, you can see where my big toe is pushed toward my other toe, and in the midst of a cramp and you can see my foot relax and watch my big toe straighten up just a little bit. I called the bunion study going on but didn't go because of the fear of pain meds or disqualification for any meds I'm on. But they said it was free surgery and bunion removal plus compensation in Dayton. They are studying non addictive pain management for bunion removal. If you aren't already connected.
My foot w bunion cramps and it feels like a Charlie horse, only thing that helps when it happens ( and it happens allot) is to stand on flat ground
