Have several foot issues can't walk without my custom orthotics which helps Metatarsal/sesamoid pain, burning foot and arch pain. Problem finding sneakers to accommodate the orthotics and foot issues. The only sneaker that was comfortable and worked with my orthotics is New Balance 1340v2 -running sneaker. But discontinued. Need wide, stability, cushioned, deep toe box, sole doesn't bend in Half (not flexible). Sneakers are too tight with orthotics even with larger size, or not deep toe box, too flexible and not enough cushion. Only a couple of sneakers fit orthodics but not enough cushioning and too flexible which causes Metatarsal pain. Walking sneakers not enough cushioning , running best but still can't find. If I can't find new shoes will not be able to walk at all. Also had several pairs of orthotics made but haven't been able to replicate the ones I have that feel comfortable and help my issues. I have a small narrow foot but need room because of foot issues. Shoes like ortho feet, healthy feet, Drew have not walked in the past. Only had success with new balance in the past but can't find sneaker that works. Please advise. Thanks, Mindy

You should look into https://www.orthofeet.com/... I used to have the same issues finding shoes to fit my orthotics. Orthofeet shoes are designed by podiatrists for a magnitude of issues. I haven't had to wear my orthotics for about 2 years now.

Today after work I bought the Hoka Arahi 5 from Second Sole in the Cleveland area (Ohio). Got all my fingers and toes crossed that they help. They are very cushy but also fit orthotics and the soles have far less flex than even trail runners. I have small narrow feet, with bad ball of foot/metatarsal issues from fat pad atrophy. The shoe seemed a little loose on the heel but the person helping me showed me how to lace them differently and it made a huge difference.

, I too have Metatarsal/ sesamoid pain in the ball of my feet, and I have tried everything, and nothing works for me. I finally found a shoe store that helps. If you have a Foot 👣 solutions shoe store or good feet 👣 shoe store in your area, go to them. They can help you find good shoes and high arch support for your feet. They are expensive, but they are so worth it.

Our customers love HOKA and Brooks.

For sure, Hoka!!

It’s just a slight change at the top, you see how the lace skips a hole then you can put it in as you tighten and tie. They are helpful for my heels but even with prescription inserts (different from my orthotics, which give me blisters), they don’t have any additional ball of foot cushion and I’m hoping I can return them. My foot hurt after a trip to target. I’ve already set enough shoe money on fire.

The best shoes I ever bought was I think the number you repeated as well as a leather New Balance 860 best shoes ever and they have been discontinued!!!!! Makes me so sad!

Try altra. Wide toe box shoes. The Olympus model also has a lot of cushion. They are zero drop shoes but are really great.

I have a suggestion that I personally use. Just wear the shoes without socks. Most shoes will fit more perfectly with Orthotics
