Hello. I am supposed to be getting fusion surgery on my worse foot, but ultimately on both feet. I'm so scared to lose the mobility of the toe though. I've had bunions as long as I can remember. I'm 54, but had my first orthotics at 11. They just hurt. I've seen podiatrists that weren't helpful. I basically just lived with the pain until a few years ago when my orthopedic Dr. started giving me steroid injections about every 6 months.
