Hello! I have my surgery on May 13th. I was wondering what are some good wide toe box waking shoes? Right now I have Sauconys and I feel like the toe box is a little too narrow, especially for after surgery. TIA!

I’ve had three surgeries on the same foot, Altras have the best toe box in the many many brands I’ve tried. I also have a few pairs of Brooks.

I used Hoka Clifton pre & post surgery. They have wide fittings too. Perhaps get a 2nd hand pair. The swelling takes 3-6mths…

Topo, reviews rate them even better then Altras ( see You Tube) recommended by my Podiatrist

Altra Torin

Altra paradigm 7!!!!! Topo also has a wide toe box. The heel is a little too snug on my heel so I don’t wear them often.

I used my Brooks Ghosts which are D width but Altras have a really good toe box for when you can use shoes again.

Try Topo Athletic, Hoka Clifton 9, or Brooks Ghost they all have wide toe boxes and are great for post-surgery comfort. Sole Bliss is also made specifically for bunions.
