<<HELP/advice.. I had Morton Neuroma removed from my 2nd and 3rd metatarsal nerve back in Dec2017. I had some custom made insoles but it was too painful in the beginning months... the major pain in my foot went away, but I still have issues with my left forefoot area. I went to the podiatrist back in Jan"20 for a quick check-up and x-ray... the verdict was to wear premium insoles and support the arch and loose sneakers. I don't remember how much money I've spent on amazon on buying different types of insoles hoping they'd help. I gave up and tried Upstep this past month...it's been okay but I still have the feeling on my metatarsal heads...the pain is manageable, but I wonder if this is gonna stay forever with me... I don't understand how come is not healing... I regain 95% mobility on my 2nd and 3rd toe, but I think I still have some nerve damage or healing to do... am I ever going to recover? I need some hope... I can wait..but I need to get back on running/jogging mode... I'm a bit scared... I don't want another surgery....any thoughts?

I have upsteps too but my feet aren’t getting used to them.

Did u ever find relief? I have dealt with this pain for 6 years and similar surgeries.

When did you start using upsteps, I’ve read that it could take up to 4-6 weeks for your feet to adjust....my right foot is fine, no more arch pain after 12hrs workdays, same as the left...but the Left forefoot area and the metatarsal heads are a different story 🤷🏻‍♂️😞

to be honest...I think upstep are pretty good, as far as quality and fit and way cheaper than the ones from your podiatrist .... but with my case...I may need some extra advice 🤷🏻‍♂️😭

i bought these recently and put it inside my boots..they feel pretty good..it’s better than before, but I still have issues with my metatarsal heads...feels like a have a coin underneath my toes...no sharp pain or burning or tingling, just an inconvenience ...I’m going on 3 yrs since my surgery... I’m kinda losing hope in full recovery on my left forefoot area...🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Alex, premium insoles are hard to find and most the insoles you find on Amazon come from some factory in china. They are just lower to mediocre quality. Every time you see a cool looking pair on amazon, go to Alibaba.com, type 'insoles' and if you find a pair resembling the one you saw on Amazon, just DO NOT buy it. You will find tons of similar insoles with different brands, but they all come from the same factory and mold. I only can advise you the SursilOrtho insoles. You will never find their insoles on Alibaba because they are made from one same true place. Check their FB page, they give many good tips and information. They are truly premium medical grade.

Thanks Alex! I have tried every insert imaginable with no help so far. Have you heard of shockwave treatment>? I saw it on this group but curious if you have heard of it. Sounds like we have the same problem. I am going on 6 years now it is taking a toll....
