Hey yall! I’m new to the group and debating surgery on my one foot! I’m only 28, but the pain is relatively constant despite wearing proper footwear and custom orthotics. I live a very active lifestyle and am wondering if long term it’s worth it, or if the risks/ chances of redeveloping deformities post surgery make it so I should just continue to function as I am? Any opinions on people post surgery would be great!

I got both mine done with minimally invasive procedure- I am nine weeks post op and in trainers and shoes and my walking boots. I was weight bearing a week after surgery. See my channel. I wish I had done it sooner too! I was in pain playing tennis. I’m hoping to be back on court in a month! Seriously I’m so pleased with my bunnies!

I’m in the uk 50 approx 10 weeks post op and so far no regrets. Back in trainers and at the gym I had a plate and a screw and tendon release on 2 toes as well. Non weight bearing for 6 weeks Pain post op wasn’t too bad Odd niggle just now but no where as bad as the pre op pain Your still so young so I would defo have surgery
