Hi all. I have had Hallux limitus for about a year now. I dropped something on my toe, the pain never left, and I got my diagnosis. As I'm sure most of you are, I'm super frustrated. I asked my orthopedic doctor if I could get a cheilectomy, but he says I'm in a gray area. I really don't see the point in letting this get worse. I have lots of mobility in my toe. Has anyone had a cheilectomy while in a gray area? Did it help?
