Hi, I am scheduled to have a bunion correction operation on both feet and am undecided about whether to proceed or not. Iam not in any pain or discomfort so it would be purely cosmetic. My GP said it's the worst case he has ever seen. They will break the bone, fuse the parts &hold together with screws which will be permanent. Also they will realign the remaining toes which are also deformed and hold in place with non- permanent screws
