If you were in UK I honestly don’t think they would even consider surgery for your big toe- yours would I think be classed as mild. I can have surgery- mine are ‘extreme’ - lump is far bigger and my toe almost horizontal across my other toes. Even so I’m still considering whether to go ahead due to the recovery time/pain/ non weight bearing practicalities etc. it’s not straightforward. However, if the lump you mention is in your mid foot ( can’t really tell from photos) that might be a different story. Have you had x rays/scans? Seems to me like you need a confirmed diagnosis to be able to decide anything. I really feel for you that cost has to have a bearing on what you do! Thank goodness for the NHS ! Not perfect but compared to your situation it’s incredible

I am so broke right now I can’t afford it and this is killing me I feel like I’m gonna get arthritis. It just gets worse and I feel so sad there’s nothing to correct it but surgery. I liked the ground really hard maybe in my freshman year of college I think or maybe in high school it was so long ago and ever since my right foot just had that bump and it’s getting worse and hurting more as I’m getting older and using my feet more.
