Hi! Just curious if anyone else notices air pockets under their toenails after using nail polish? I don’t know if I have a fungus or not. If I let them air out it grows out but then when I polish them and after about 4 weeks I remove the polish there’s like big air pockets developing under them. Just looks white and I can easily put tools under there to clear out dirt or anything. it’s been happening since I was a child and I’m 38 now.

Having nail polish on for long periods of time can cause “keratin granulations” on top the nail so it could be that. They look like white chalky spots or streaks. (Not sure what you mean by under the nail)
