Hiya, is a hospital nurse on here who as had bunion surgery ? Kristin Kelso Good morning! Ive been told I will need a bunionectomy along with a tmt fusion on my right foot. It was originally going to be a minimally invasive bunion surgery, but new pain symptoms appeared and now it looks as though my 2nd tmt joint is bone on bone. I'm at the point where walking at all, even in my best shoes, is difficult. Can anyone tell me what their recovery was like from this surgery and if you were ever able to get back to hiking?
