How do you keep your toenails healthy while treating fungus? Shared post GiftedRaccoon319 Hi everybody! I’m super embarrassed of my toes and they’re really bad. I was seeing a podiatrist who was doing laser treatments and they seemed to be working but that was when I had more money as it costed a lot per visit. I don’t take great care of myself due to severe anxiety and depression, and lots of grief. I’m really disappointed in our medical system because doctors dismiss concerns and don’t seem to care or they’re totally against prescribing certain meds that I know help me. Why does fungus have to be so hard to get rid of? My nails are so thick and ugly and misshaped and I try to cut them, it hurts but I do it. I try to take a sharp thing and clean them out. It's a topical of itraconazole and terbinefine with DMSO to aid in absorption. I took terbinafine in the past and I had issues with it, so this is very interesting.
