Took the boot off to see if that would help. I have a pin in my 2nd toe so I was concerned I would hit it. No go. Called Dr & they sent me home & back on FMLA. So frustrating How did any of you go back to work & when? Mentally I am ready. Shared post Hannah York Hi well went for tissue massage physio on Friday as my foot, ankle toe still very tight and mu calf muscles from being in the surgical shoe. The physio said to me you have a stitch still in your foot but obviously I couldn't see it anyway took a picture of it . I emailed the consultants secretary but i was told have stitches which dont dissolve. So here I go again have to go back to the hospital which is an hour and a half away to have it taken out. I was concerned I would get an infection but lucky at the moment looking OK although it's been sore when trying to wear shoes. As I also have to wear orthotic insoles to .
