How many people have had a plantar fasciitis surgery im at my first week back to work its been rough but still no pain just feeling weird also had a bunionectomy and still pretty swollen hopefully the swelling will go down so my shoes and work boots will feel a little better

I had PF surgery back in November. After 3 months my foot felt great (for 3 weeks). Now it's back to square one, dr says another surgery. It's been 2 years not being able to even take walks.

same thing will advice to see another doctor it its a revision. I had to have my surgery redone after one year l chose a different doctor. Because the one that did the first time didn't cut enough of the facia which left me with pain. Do research and read the reviews on a different doctor.

I had it over 3 weeks ago. Lots of pain first week. Non weight bearing for two full weeks. I magically thought at two weeks I’d be walking in a boot. I couldn’t even stand at two weeks. Slowly started putting a tiny bit of pressure on it and I’m at 3.5 weeks and I can sort of walk in the boot. I had calf recession too. Right now I can walk with the help of one crutch. But it’s really been way slower than I anticipated!!! Just take it easy. My doc says everything is fine, give it time. I don’t have any pain just weird nerve sensations or zaps at night.

SunnySeahorse7510 was the pain mostly in your calf? My mom had surgery on Tuesday and can't put weight on that leg. She says it feels like an awful Charlie horse in her calf.

the recovery is very slow than most doctor say. Had the surgery 3 times. It took me 6 months to be pain free. Don't listen to the doctor about weight bearing listen to your body. If it hurts stop.

oh wow, 6 months. She's been through the whole thing with the plantar fasciitis. She is definitely listening to her body. The doctor told her, it's very important to stay off that foot right now so she doesn't build up scar tissue. She was expecting pain, but I am not sure as much in the calf. She has no pain in the foot.

yes it feels like that. I’m about a month in and still can’t put full weight on it. Take it very slow!!! Wear the boot, use a scooter whatever it takes. I can walk somewhat normal in a boot but it took a good month.

Hi I'm six weeks post Bunion surgery last Wednesday saw the Consultant on Wednesday for my six week operation check my foot is still swollen to . Hard to get shoes on at the moment.
