I am 7 weeks post op and can't walk because of this lump on the bottom of my foot, it hurts to step on it.

They do say it takes a lot of time My swelling turned out the surgeon did not put my tire in the right place

Some of the swelling did go down, but always the lump. I am on IV antibiotics.

I am 2 years post op. I had an infection so had a few surgeries and hardware removal. I had quite a hard but also slightly squidgy lump in the arch of my foot and another in the ball of my foot. I have been massaging them as hard as I possibly could take and then some. The one in the ball of my foot has finally gone. The one in the arch is nearly gone. I think some of us develop a lot more scar tissue inside than others.

My Dr said exactly the same thing. Went back a few times but 1 year 1/2 later I had to demand more investigation. I’d been walking on a fracture and had to have the whole lot done again 🫣

I am 7 months post op, still swollen. The only person who was honest with me was my Dr's Physician Assistant who said the swelling can last for up to 2 years.
