I had bunionectomy with 2 screws put in my right foot due to hallux rigidus on October 9th.

I had bunionectomy with 2 screws put in my right foot due to hallux rigidus on October 9th. Has anyone had this done and if so, how long was it before you went back to work? I thought I was going to be out for 12 weeks but I just received some paperwork back from the doctor’s office and it says I can go back December 8th. I’m a little surprised because it’s my driving foot
