I had my surgery on Wednesday I’m not needed any pain killers ( did on Wednesday and Thursday am) Am fully weight bearing Using crutches sparingly Back to working from home ( only 4 hrs a day) Susan Miller I had surgery yesterday and am in a heel walking shoe that I need to wear for 2 weeks until my check up. Only walking for 5 mins per hour for 2 weeks. I was told to buy Hoka trainers but when I showed him he said leather like tennis trainers are better. But he said they needed to be raised at the back and front slightly when he said about the Hoka ones. I’ll wear the Hoka ones after anyway but has anyone got any recommendations for straight after the heel shoe, in leather th Gail McDermott Holy Moly !!! 3 weeks out and this pin is sticking out I don’t get it removed until the end of September . I have to keep it covered with thick bandaids so I don’t snag it on anything . I was told to just leave it. There is no pain. All and all I’m doing pretty good. I get pain if I do to much then I rest and elevate it. I’m in a surgical walking shoe the boot was so uncomfortable. I went ahead and ordered it from Amazon.
