I have been offered calf release surgery here in the UK. Can anyone tell me about the recovery stages. The surgeon said I’d be able to go back to work within about a week, but would feel discomfort. This surprised me a lot as I’m a teacher who stands a lot, which is what caused it, and it’s both feet. He said it’s a very quick procedure but requires more physio. Many thanks.
