What kind of support are you using inside your shoe? what do you mean by painfully tight? I can't quite picture what you mean. Are you getting good support from your shoes? Are you doing any types of stretch or strengthening excercises for your feet?

wear an insert for high arches. Painfully tight mean the top of my foot feels so tight sometimes it aches Not doing any stretches Other issues with my left foot. Neuropathy numbness in ball of foot Failed cartiva. Probably going to need a Big Toe Fusion
top of foot pain can be from your arch support pushing foot in top of shoe....maybe loosen up shoe strings or try re tying shoe lace in different ways to avoid the area of pain
are you taking the soles out of the shoes before you put your inserts in ?
Yes. Foot feels tight without shoes
Sometimes it feels tight with no shoes on. Have been told it can be caused by high arches
do you have pain at bottom of your feet?...just the top? I have high arches but no pain on top of feet
just every where eles
Neuropathy pain on balls of feet Big toe fusion scheduled asap Left foot has multiple issues
I also if if don't have any shoes on get top of foot pain, the met pads SEEM to help, waiting for a new pair now, everyday waiting seems like an eternity, and I don't even know for sure if it is going to work someone said my whole met arch collapsed from all the surgeries, so I need a met pad to hold up and the pain sometimes goes away. VERY DEBILITATING.
Any help appreciated
