I'm 7 weeks post op tomorrow and my surgeon said I'd be able to start wearing shoes at 8 weeks.
I'm 7 weeks post op tomorrow and my surgeon said I'd be able to start wearing shoes at 8 weeks. I currently find that extremely hard to believe given how swollen I am. My right foot had a bunionectomy and plantar plate repair on the second toe. What shoes would you recommend? I'm thinking about Hokas or Altras (wider toe box). I'm also thinking maybe Birkenstocks with socks would work. Then I could loosen the strap on the swolle
