I'm having surgery next week.
I'm having surgery next week. Im having the lapidus bunionectomy on my right foot. Im lucky that I have only one foot with a bunion. I am 54 years old with no medical problems. I hear that the plate and screws that are left in can cause problems years later. Can anyone alleviate my fears?
