I’m looking for advice and experiences from people who have had mild hallux valgus/bunions but significant pain. My hallux valgus isn’t very severe, but I’ve had pain for several years. At first, it only hurt occasionally, but over the past 1.5–2 years, the pain has become almost constant. When my big toe is in hyperextension or flexion, it hurts quite a lot, so running, walking and training can be painful. Here is the catch, she has Raynauds and I warned her to get a second opinion and talk to her rheumatologist about this also. The thing that surprised me most was her podiatrist told her NOT to tell the scheduler she has Raynaud's. That was a huge red flag right there when she told me that.
