I’m new to the group and so glad I found it. Thank you all for sharing your experiences. I have nerve damage in my foot. Horrible life altering constant pain. This surfaced after bunion surgery. Did I have it previously? No one seems to know. My long time podiatrist says he’s never seen a problem quite like mine. This concerns me. How is anyone unique? I’ve got custom fit orthotics and wear motion controlled brooks all day that the podiatrist told me I had to wear. I can’t get surgery until I’m done having children and have support for recovery. I have several issues with them like bunions but this area hurts the most. I’m completely flat and have to ice this red spot often. the pain keeps me up at night even when I don’t have weight on it. (I can also wear Skechers Reggae sandals, but not to work. Otherwise, it’s been tennis shoes). The Wave.Run shoes fit my orthotics and have enough cushion for me to wear them. (I need a lot of cushion). They’ve now stopped making them.
