I’m now a week post surgery, so thought I’d give an update on my first week for anyone that’s got surgery booked. I was absolutely terrified, but am pleased to report the pain has been nowhere near as bad as I expected. I had a general anaesthetic, but also a nerve block which kept me pain free for the first 24 hours. I also have a Darco shoe to wear during the day.
