RICE - Rest (stay off it as much as possible), Ice (frequently), Compression (use as elastic wrap around the foot/ankle), Elevation (prop up on a couple of pillows). Sounds like you need to be seen ASAP.

I slipped in water and my foot rolled to its side and slid with all my weight on it.
I slipped in water and my foot rolled to its side and slid with all my weight on it. I'm not small by any means so that was a lot of pressure. I instantly felt like there was glass stabbing my foot. 30 minutes later I could barely walk on it. That night I took my shoes and socks off and walked 3 steps and felt things moving around in my foot then it popped 3 times. Since then it's been constant pain. I've been up the past 3 hours and I've ran out of things to take. I'm hoping the podiatrist can see me when they open. Anything I can do in the mean time? I have no idea what I've done.

all those things would have been my suggestions as well. Hoping Kati feels better soon and it’s something that can be fixed/recovered from quickly! 🙏🏻🤞🏻
I went to the emergency room and they just wrapped it and gave me discharge papers. The papers say torn ligament. Trying to find an ortho to see me sooner than the 19th
The 3 pops have me worried.
