I went to the podiatrist today to see if my feet was causing my leg, hip & lower back pain.

I went to the podiatrist today to see if my feet was causing my leg, hip & lower back pain. He said my left foot was fine but my right foot is a serpentine shape. Which was a birth defect that didnt get caught until I was 60 years old. He also said that my right leg was longer than my left. Probably caused by my left knee replacement. Were going to try custom insoles first before we consider surgery. Has anyone had this. Did it cause your leg, hip & back pain? Did the insoles help?

Hi! I am picking up my custom orthotics tomorrow. I had posted here before about my immense foot pain. Some one gave me some really good advice to find a practice that deals with orthotics and biomechnics. A lot of custom orthotics are hard plastic 😕 which would not have helped me. I have tried many OTC orthotics with know relief. I have knee pain as well. So I am cautiously optimistic about these orthotics. Hoping they are going to help me because I am on my feet for 8 hours a day. I can barely walk at the end of my shift 😩
